Billing lives on Settings → Billing, and is handled by Polar as merchant of record. Checkout, invoices, payment methods and cancellation all happen in Polar’s hosted portal — AI Tracker never sees or stores your card details.

Plans

Current pricing is always on theaitracker.com/pricing.
Answer engines are the difference that shows up immediately. On Starter, every prompt runs against ChatGPT only — so a per-platform chart with one line is your plan working correctly, not a fault. Growth adds Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

The free trial

Starter and Growth include a 7-day free trial, which is enough to complete setup, add your prompts, and see several days of real results before deciding. Prompts run daily, so a trial is genuinely worth starting on day one rather than the day you plan to evaluate — a trial started and left alone for six days shows you the same data as one started six days later, but with a week of trend behind it.

Changing plan

1

Go to Settings → Billing

Your current plan is shown at the top, with the renewal date.
2

Choose a plan

You are sent to Polar’s hosted checkout, and returned to AI Tracker when it completes.
3

New engines start on the next run

Upgrading widens the answer engines your prompts run against from the next daily run onwards. It does not backfill history for engines you weren’t previously paying for.
Enterprise / Agency is not self-serve. Use Contact sales and the plan is configured for you.

Managing your subscription

Manage billing on the Billing page opens the Polar customer portal, where you can:
  • update your payment method
  • download invoices and receipts
  • change your billing details
  • cancel
A cancelled subscription is marked Cancelling in AI Tracker and keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. Your data is not deleted when it lapses.

Limits worth understanding

Separate from your plan’s prompt allowance, a campaign can only have a limited number of prompts active at once. The Prompts page shows where you stand.Prompts added past the cap are saved but stay inactive until you free a slot. See Managing prompts.
Set by your plan, and enforced on every run. You can narrow the list per campaign or per prompt, but you cannot add an engine your plan doesn’t include.
The number of pages crawled per accessibility content scan scales with your plan, so a larger site gets a more complete picture on a higher tier.
Included on all plans. Rate limits are per user, not per plan — see API overview.

It stays. Prompts stop running at the end of the paid period, and your history remains available if you come back.
